Opening Statements

The Yankees make a very good case for World Series contenders in 2009, what else is new. Yeah, A-Rod made some headlines this off-season, but please don't forget the other Yanks who made headlines as well. I'm talking about CC, AJ and TJ (Teixeira doesn't have a 2 letter nickname) who will no doubt add some beef to that pitching rotation and a fantastic all-around ball player at 1st. I don't know which I'm more eagerly awaiting MLB 09: The Season or MLB 09: The show. Either way, the yanks will be fielding another fantasy roster that shouldn't have much problem beating out those boring BoSox for the AL East title...
